There's More To It Than You Think
Things today were not as they seemed. Back around your grandparents were young people were not seen as 'equals'. During the time they grew up people were segregated into blacks and whites. To segregate means to separate or split up into different groups (2). If you wanted to ask them about this they could tell stories about what life was like for then. They could possibly tell about how in school they had separate classrooms for black and white children. They even had different water fountains they had to drink from. Think about how good you have it today. Compared to back then, we all live better and more peaceful lives. How You Should and Shouldn't Act

So just remember about what i said earlier. Treat others with respect and kindness and you will get that back in return. As the saying goes, "Treat others others the way you would want to be treated". Always try and look at the positives in people and in the end things will always be just fine.
